The conference brings together researchers interested in the interconnect between technical aspects of information systems in health, and the human, social, and organizational dimensions.  It is only through a deep understanding of this complex socio-technical interaction that we are able to design safe and effective systems which are used in the real world.  Socio-technical approaches to design, implementation and evaluation of health information systems of necessity draw upon the expertise of a wide-range of disciplines.  Participants will range from those interested in health informatics with backgrounds in the social, computer, information, cognitive and clinical sciences.

This conference will provide many opportunities for cross-disciplinary interaction, in-depth discussion and innovative thinking.

Particular themes which will be highlighted in the conference include:

Travel information

Europe, United Kingdom, America and Canada: Travelling the world is financially a ‘best value’ when flying one-way around the globe!  You can start in Europe, visit Asia for a flight stop-over, onto Australia and the Medinfo 2007 Congress, then visit New Zealand and maybe colleagues in America or Canada and then fly onto home!  Or, similarly commence your travel in America and see the world! It is magical just what the visitor can do and see when flying a round-world-trip! But maybe time or your travel route is of a premium and a visit to Australia for 7 -10 days is all the time you can afford!

Asia, South Africa, South America: Travel your selected airline routes to Australia

Our preferred and recommended international and national carrier is QANTAS, the Australian Airline
